BULACAN, Philippines – As administration coalition Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas campaigned in vote-rich Bulacan on Friday, February 28, asked Bulakenyos about the local issues they want candidates to address.
Bulacan has over 2.1 million registered voters for the 2025 elections, making it a key battleground in the upcoming midterms. One major concern among Bulacan residents is the need for improved water supply, a key issue they want addressed.
One resident Rappler spoke to cited the high cost and frequent service interruptions of water supply by the water utility firm PrimeWater as the main source of inconvenience. The Villar family owns the firm, and ironically, Camille Villar was in Bulacan for the campaign sortie with Alyansa.
