For almost two centuries, Ginebra San Miguel (GSM) and its spirits have been iconic presences in the Philippines, becoming a staple in Filipinos’ special moments and celebrations. The business has persevered for so long because of constant evolution, pursuit of excellence, and a “never-say-die” attitude.
In celebration of their 190th anniversary, they have named a new calendar girl, one who embodies the same values through her career: the multi-hyphenate artist Julie Ann San Jose.

GSM revealed its 2025 calendar girl last October 30 with a performance-packed debut party. The calendar’s theme for the year is Obra Maestra, with six layouts that each feature one GSM brand. Every layout also has exclusive content – a cocktail recipe and an introductory video with Julie Ann – accessible via a QR code.
The layouts’ creative direction pays tribute to muses and goddesses in art history, from Aphrodite to Terpsichore to Diana, and more. Julie Ann herself is a muse in her own right, known among her fans as Asia’s Limitless Star for her ever-evolving slew of talents like singing, acting, and songwriting.
As a showcase of her craft during the launch, Julie Ann led the reveal of all six layouts with her own rendition of the GSM brands’ jingles. Belting out power notes and hitting multiple sets of choreography flawlessly, Julie Ann proved that she holds her own as both a muse and creator.

JuIie Ann’s daring stint as the GSM 2025 calendar girl is a side to her that the public has yet to see much of. When asked if there was any fear in saying yes to the project, Julie Ann said: “Why not say yes? I mean it’s something na hindi na talaga kailangang pag-isipan pa (that I don’t need to think about anymore) … I want to show a stronger, more confident, braver Julie Ann, and this is the start of something new.”

Julie Ann is now part of GSM’s 36-year history of calendar girls. The calendar has been graced by the Philippine entertainment industry’s most influential women, like Marian Rivera, Anne Curtis, Pia Wurtzbach, and Solenn Heusaff, to name a few. To describe the partnership in a nutshell, Ginebra San Miguel Inc. sales and marketing head Allan P. Mercado said: “The Limitless Star meets the limitless gin.”
