MANILA, Philippines – The Senate committee on women, children, family relations and gender equality and the committee on migrant workers on Tuesday, September 17, resumes its hearing on the fake identity of dismissed mayor Alice Guo of Bamban, Tarlac and her ties to illegal Philippine offshore gaming operators or POGOs in Central Luzon.
During the last hearing on September 9, the Senate panel again cited Guo in contempt for refusing to answer many of the lawmakers’ questions and for testifying falsely.
